Rowan Curle came to stay at my house on Friday evening and on Sunday morning I recorded him singing on my new comedy song called Sixtieth Birthday. Then later on that day Guy Bolt visited and I recorded him playing drums on Lease to Your Heart. In the evening Lord Zarquon brought over 3 more completed song files, The Music Hall war, Song of a Metal Detectorist and Jack the Ripper. On Monday morning Bridgit England visited my Rock Lee basement studio and I recorded her singing on Lease to Your Heart, The Jameson Satellite, Great Edwardo and Sunshine in the Rain. The next day I recorded myself playing bass guitar on Lease to Your Heart and then an instrumental written by Graham Moores so it was a busy few days in the music world of Ian Churchward.

The Jameson Satellite song is about the story of the same name by Neil R Jones. I first read this story when I came across a book called Before the Golden age in the library at Torquay Boy's Grammar School. I think I was about 13 years old at the time. I can still remember quite clearly taking the book from the book shelf in the library and thumbing through some of the pages. I had a quick read of one page and quickly realised it was science fiction which described an alien spaceship entering the solar system. This story was the second one in the book and it was the Jameson Satellite which was originally published in a science fiction magazine called Amazing Stories in 1931. There is information about the author and his stories here:-
