The words for my song "Desert Pony" are inspired from the journeys we make throughout life. The desert can appear a desolate place with the shifting sands of time forming pathways and patterns. Life is similar, pathways and patterns. In time we may choose to follow one or all and the journey that we choose to make may be difficult or easy . Hopefully we will gain experience and journey towards our own green oasis. The Desert Pony metaphorically relates to a close friend, our wonderful children and our family, all as precious, complex and necessary as the waters of life. Hopefully as we make our way towards the oasis we will find peace, hope and inspiration for the next song about life. Enjoy the journey whilst you listen to my words. May hope and peace go with you wherever you choose to travel.
